new Alzheimer's drug, Reminyl

Janssen will soon market a new Alzheimer's drug, Reminyl. It's a cholinesterase inhibitor derived from daffodil bulbs.

Reminyl will be used as an alternative to Aricept or Exelon.

All of the Alzheimer's drugs can provide similar improvements in cognitive function. The big differences are dosing and side effects.
